I had just become a mother when I really picked up sewing. I followed a few lessons and soon started creating some clothing pieces for my son. But there it was, the inevitable inability to throw away the scraps of those projects. My drawers slowly became filled with them, especially when I found the right thrift stores that sold amazing forgotten fabrics. That’s when I was inspired by some amazing artists to start looking into patchwork and I quickly fell in love.

My name is Lidewij, the woman behind Meadow’s Valor. I am a follower of Jesus, a wife, a mother and a seamstress and I create unique, one of one patchwork garments for those who dare to stand out.
